On January 23, 2024, Senior Research Fellow Colin P. Clarke joined the Second Annual Counter Terrorism Conference hosted by the Institute of Government & Public Policy, based within the University of East London. The event set out to discuss the ever-evolving terrorism threat, the latest legislative changes, and strategies for preventing and safeguarding against terrorist attacks. Dr. Clarke spoke on the topic ‘Decoding the Future Dynamics of Terrorism,’ which explored the changing tactics and strategies employed by terrorist organizations, shedding light on how technological advancements, ideological shifts, and geopolitical dynamics contribute to the evolution of terrorism.
