Global Perspectives on the Transnational Far-Right Threat and Response

On November 3, 2021, Naureen Fink, Executive Director of The Soufan Center, participated in a RUSI conference on “Global Perspectives on the Transnational Far-Right Threat and Response.” The conference launched RUSI’s Far-Right Extremism and Terrorism (FRET) Research Programme. Ms. Fink participated in a session on “Physical and Ideological Connections” about the formation of networks among the far-right. Other session panelists included: Ann-Kathrin Rothermel, Research Associate, University of Potsdam; Alexander Ritzmann, Senior Advisor, Counter Extremism Project (CEP); Dr. Kacper Rekawek, Postdoctoral Fellow, Center for Research on Extremism (C-REX), University of Oslo; and as moderator, Dr. Jessica White, Research Fellow, Terrorism and Conflict, RUSI.
