‘The Impact of 9/11 on International Law: Counterterrorism & Human Rights’

On February 21, 2022, Ali Soufan, Founder of The Soufan Center, participated in an online event ‘The Impact of 9/11 on International Law: Counterterrorism & Human Rights.’ Hosted by the University of Michigan Law School, the event brough together Ali Soufan for a conversation with students hosted by Professor Karima Bennoune. Students also discussed Ali Soufan’s latest book, The Black Banners (Declassified): How Torture Derailed the War on Terror after 9/11 and the need for the public to know the complete story of what happened after the events of 9/11.
