On June 14, 2019, Stephanie Foggett, Resident Fellow at The Soufan Center, participated in the ‘Regional Summit on Security and Illicit Trade.’ The event was hosted by El Cronista, Argentina’s top financial newspaper, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The event convened experts to to discuss local, regional and worldwide challenges around illicit trade and related crimes, such as organized crime, money laundering schemes, drug trafficking and corruption. Ms. Foggett participated in a panel on ‘Funding Sources of Transnational Organized Crime’ alongside Tristan Clavel, from Insight Crime, and Suzanne Hayden, President of FTM Global Recovery LLC.
