Nordic Safe Cities Summit

October 24-25, TSC Executive Director Naureen Chowdhury Fink spoke at the Nordic Safe Cities Summit in Copenhagen on the global state of counterterrorism and preventing and countering violent extremism (P/CVE), as well as the threat of mis-, dis, and mal-information (MDM). She also presented on potential solutions for these issues by civil society, governments, and the private sector. “The answer to terrorism is not always counterterrorism,” she shared, “but building resilience, democracy, and unity,” she shared with the audience.
