On April 22, 2021, Executive Director Naureen Chowdhury Fink joined a panel discussion on “Foreign Fighters and U.S. Policy: Tracking Mobilization Hubs to Stem the Flow.” The Washington Institute for Near East Policy hosted the event, with Matthew Levitt, the Institute’s Fromer-Wexler Fellow, as moderator and other panelist Nate Rosenblatt, author of a new Institute study that explores foreign fighter mobilizations and a set of geographical “hubs” that have formed.
