Far Right Extremism and Human Rights in the United States: Global Perspectives

On April 21, 2021, Executive Director Naureen Chowdhury Fink joined a panel discussion on “Far Right Extremism and Human Rights in the United States: Global Perspectives.” The event was hosted by the UC Davis School of Law and United Nations Special Rapporteur in the field of cultural rights, Karima Bennoune. Naureen highlighted the need to “ensure human rights are part and parcel to the [UN] framework” on counterterrorism and CVE, and she advocated for the creation of “organic, sustainable, and resonant counternarratives.”
