Ali Soufan Speaking on Terrorism at Sixth Annual Rancho Mirage Writers Festival

At the three-day event Ali Soufan will join 43 authors at the sixth annual Rancho Mirage Writers Festival to discuss his latest book, Anatomy of Terror, and examine today’s terrorism threat. On the morning of January 30, Ali Soufan will talk about his latest book, Anatomy of Terror, and share his knowledge of the inner workings of al-Qaeda, the Islamic State and their spawn, and reveal how the spread of terror can be stopped. After bin Laden was killed al-Qaeda was no longer just an organization but a potent message spreading across the world. In the ancient wisdom of Sun Tzu: the best way to defeat the enemy is by understanding him on a human level. In the afternoon of January 30, Ali Soufan will join in a conversation with Ronen Bergman and Dr. Erroll Southers as they discuss the threat of global terrorism—the continually shifting missions, messages, and means of mobilization. Michael Master, President of The Soufan Center, will moderate and the event will be broadcasted live on CSPAN. On January 31, Michael Masters will moderate a Q&A session with Ali Soufan on Anatomy of Terror.
