Adapting to COVID-19: Indonesia, the United States, and the Indo-Pacific

On August 2, 2021, Colin P. Clarke, Senior Research Fellow at The Soufan Center, participated in an online event ‘Adapting to COVID-19: Indonesia, the United States, and the Indo-Pacific’ hosted by the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Indonesia and the Pacific Forum. Dr. Clarke participated in a session on the topic of ‘Youth Resilience to Violent Extremism,’ which discussed best practices for strengthening youth resilience to extremism, the value of preventing and countering violent extremism (P/CVE) and furthering the Youth, Peace and Security (YPS) agenda. Other speakers included Alif Satria, Researcher at CSIS Indonesia, Dwi Rubiyanti Kholifah, Indonesia Country Director at the Asian Muslim Network (AMAN), and Karina Utami Dewi, Assistant Professor at Universitas Islam Indonesia.
