On October 14, 2024, Senior Research Fellow Colin P. Clarke participated in an event hosted by the Austrian Institute for European and Security Policy (AIES), in cooperation with Donau University Krems and the Landesverteidigungsakademie Österreich, in Vienna, Austria. Dr. Clarke delivered a keynote address on the topic ‘A New Wave of Terrorism Against the West?’, followed by a Q&A session with Dr. Nicolas Stockhammer. The event explored emerging terrorism threats and their implications for Western security and was opened by GenLt Mag. Erich Csitkovits and introduced by Dr. Werner Fasslabend, President of AIES. It was hosted by Obst. Mag. Ernst M. Felberbauer.
